Yes, this is another travel blog.

No, this is not your typical travel blog.

This is a blog for those whose preferred means of travel is a book. In each post, I will compile a list of 12 books set in a given location. These books will encompass a wide range of genres, since my goal is to have variety without compromising on quality (but you will be the judge of that).

Before you ask, no, I have not read all the books in the lists. I plan to, though (ambitious as that might be); since they have made it to the list because they at least have interested me, intrigued me, or provoked me. Why 12? Well, it seems like not too few so that a good sense of place could be achieved, nor too many as to be an overwhelming list.  

When possible, I have tried to include a variety of authors as well. This have proved to be more difficult in locations where an authors' work is ubiquitous and of good quality. But for the most part, you might discover new authors and keep reading their books, some of which might also be set in the location of the post. This is also the case with series: where there is a series that takes place in a given location, I have included the first book in the series and let you decide if you want to keep going after that one. 

Also I should add a disclaimer. This is not THE list of books for a given location. Rather, this is A list books for a given location. As time goes by and I read these books, I might even edit the list. Because thankfully, all books have not been written yet.
